I strive for well-being. I also work on gratitude and keep a gratitude journal that I write in every morning and evening. Humans tend to be happy with an achievement for only a short time before we get used to it and return to our regular state of mind. I remind myself of all that’s wonderful in my life and it helps me remember that I’m lucky, which makes me feel happy.
Happiness is not my goal in life. Happiness is not entirely within my control and it’s temporary. A healthy human being will feel happiness and sadness and anger and all kinds of different things.
