Currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but looking at options…

I’ve changed roles at my company and happily working 9-5 as a project estimator. Just returned from volunteering in South Africa. African wildlife was on my fiancé “must see” list after her friend volunteered with Wildlife ACT. Lucky me tagged along for the experience and now I want to go back! Also, I’m engaged and planning a wedding. Also, house shopping. Busy Q4 2017!

Learned a little South African English so will provide Three Nows:

Right Now:  Preparing for an interview.

Now Now:  Buying a House. Planning a wedding.

Just Now:  At some point, get back to writing and sharing book summaries.

This update was October 15 2017.

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It’s starting to warm up!

I happily work 9-5 as a project manager for an electric utility. While commuting, I read books or listen to audiobooks. I want to remember more than just 2% of each book. I find that taking notes, writing down my thoughts and synthesizing into paragraphs helps me remember what I read. Inspired by Derek Sivers, I write and share my book summaries.

I passed my PMP exam and organized for my trip to Africa and Germany. I’m reading, exercising and learning Mandarin again. I feel good when I’m working on something and improving in increments every day. Exercising and Mandarin progress is easy to track, unlike documenting my P.Eng experience.

Still living in Toronto, Canada!

Life is settling down. In my professional life, I’m working on completing my PMP and PEng certifications. In my personal life, I’m reviewing my finances and where I want to live.

I have started reading again, but I don’t like how I have paused on my other activities.

I will start exercising and learning Mandarin again. I feel good when I’m working on something and improving in increments every day. Exercising and Mandarin progress is easy to track, unlike studying for my PMP exam.

This update was April 17, 2017.

Still living in Toronto, Canada, for now. Maybe something will bring me to San Francisco.

Life has been a full of uncertainty lately, so I’ve paused leisure activities such as studying Mandarin, journaling and meditating. I am focused on completing my PMP and PEng certifications.

For leisure and during my commute, I am answering questions on Quora and reading about Chinese culture.

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I happily work 9-5 as a project manager for an electric utility. While commuting, I read books, audiobooks or listen to The Tim Ferriss Show. I keep notes of all the books I go through. I want to remember more than just 2% of each book. I find that taking notes, writing down my thoughts and synthesizing into paragraphs helps me remember what I read. Inspired by Derek Sivers, I write and share my book summaries.

I have started moving into my girlfriend’s place. I look forward to spending more time with her and our relationship grows with each passing day. In the month of January, I will sift through my possessions and keep the necessities. It will make my final move simpler and help unclutter my life. I have started learning Mandarin and will aim at having conversational proficiency in six months.

With my remaining time, I want to read and write more, improve my website, and find my inner compass by developing two keystone habits – journaling and meditating.

I’m going to eat a large meal now. Happy Holidays.
